Ed Minton back from sell out UK tour
Claire, who joined the fire suppression business as managing director in 2024, will take the helm from Steven Nanda, who will remain with the Group, as executive director.
Reflecting on the transition, Steven commented:
“Over the past seven months, Claire has proven to be an exceptional asset to the business, driving our strategic direction, leading the integration of DAS Fire, and delivering impactful day-to-day improvements. It is for these reasons that I, along with the team at WestBridge, am delighted to share this exciting and thoroughly well-deserved news.
“In my new role as executive director, I will continue to support Claire and the Board of Directors while remaining focused on strategic acquisitions.”
Claire added: “I want to thank Steven for his incredible leadership and dedication to Alpine. As I step into the role of CEO, I’m energised by the growth opportunities ahead and look forward to leading our talented teams as we continue to build on Alpine’s success and reputation as the UK’s leading ESG fire suppression and detection company.”
This leadership transition marks an exciting new chapter for the Alpine Group as it continues to strengthen its position as a leader in the sector.
Peter Barkley, partner at WestBridge said: “Since our investment in late 2022, we have supported the Alpine team to invest in and develop their talent and leadership. This has supported the significant growth in revenue, acquisition of DAS Fire and expansion into new end markets.
“Since Claire joined the business as managing director, she has firmly established herself as the future leader of the group, bringing fresh ideas and a huge amount of energy to the role. Having already taken responsibility for the operations of both Alpine Fire and DAS Fire - and given her involvement in our continued M&A ambitions - it was a natural next step for her to take on the role of Group CEO.
“Steve was fundamental in establishing the WestBridge partnership with Alpine Fire and has been an incredible servant to the business. We are delighted to support his succession plan and look forward to our continued partnership in his new role.”
